In the audio-visual instalation Up:Down the leading part is played by the visitors. A percution instrument is enabling people to manipulate a video projection. It shows a woman and a man who fall down and then go up again. Their vertical movement is looped. Depending on the tempo of the musical instrument, they could meet in a dance or difficult struggle. The interaction with the two figures gives the visitor a way to build his own narrative – it could be of a cheerful meeting, a joke, separation or a dramatic competition.
